Warm-Up
I can't stress enough how important it is to get to the gym ON TIME so you can properly warm-up. The majority of injuries occur when trying to rush into the daily workout. The general warm-up that is up on the board is just a guideline. If you know you have shoulder/hip flexibility issues, then you need to spend more time doing shoulder/hip exercises. If you get to the gym early, or if the prior class is running a few minutes late, head upstairs and do some light rowing/stretching. The point is, get to the gym on time, get your stretching done timely, break a light sweat while performing the warm-up exercises, and be ready for the WOD.
